Recently I’ve noticed that my bathroom towels are a bit worse for wear. Budget ‘fluffy’ towels tend to age and loose their softness over time, and that’s definitely what’s happening to mine. So, when a release for LinenMe landed in my inbox, I was completely taken with their new range of linen towels.

LinenMe are designers and suppliers of high quality linen bedding, home-wears and clothes. Created by the Lithuanian interior designer Inga Lukauskine, she was spurred by a passion for linen home accessories to develop a predominantly handmade, unique brand using raw materials and a strong family ethos. Her new Huckaback range combines traditional techniques and modern technology to create a luxurious huckaback weave in a range of interesting patterns.
What’s so special about linen towels? I hear you ask. Well, I wondered that too. LinenMe’s towels are 100% linen, so they dry really quickly. They’re also light weight, and can fold down much smaller than your average fluffy towel. This makes them ideal for use at home and for taking on your travels too.
The real selling point of these towels is the claim that the ‘natural properties’ they are made with ‘stimulate the blood to leave the skin feeling revitalised.’ I have to say I’m curious – I’ve not come across many products for the home which may have beneficial health properties too.
LinenMe offer the option to create your own design, so you could design a bespoke towel which fits your bathroom perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that these towels are really reasonably priced too – in fact, I’d almost describe them as budget if they didn’t look so high end! Considering these towels should last much longer than a similarly priced ‘fluffy’ counterpart, plus they have such a selection of sophisticated and varied designs to choose from, I’m pretty much convinced I’ll give linen a try.
Do you own a LinenMe towel? Would you recommend switching to linen towels? I’d love to hear your opinion in the comments below!
